RIP Daul Kim

This breaks my heart. South Korean model Daul Kim passed away on November 19, 2009 in Paris. She was one of the top asian models working today, doing all the big shows in NY, Milan, London, and Paris. She seemed so full of life, but clearly she was carrying a lot of pain as well. I hope you find peace Daul. <3

Emma Watson in August

I don't read Teen Vogue very often, but when I do this is the type of editorial I like to see. Great model (Emma Watson looks great in print), great styling (chic and sophisticated pieces), and a lovely setting (I love rural and nature backgrounds)! Teen Vogue often chooses covers that I feel look mediocre, but this one is spot on (minus the text overload)! It's a trend I hope Teen Vogue will continue to follow!

RIP

Last month, June 28, marked the one year anniversary of the death of Ruslana Korshunova. Her death effected me in a profound way in that I realized even the most beautiful of people living the most beauiful of lives can be unhappy. She was a wonderful model, and therefore I am dedicating this post to some of my favorite pictures of her. RIP angel.
