Favourite Editorial of 2009

This is my favourite editorial from 2009! I'm not usually a huge fan of Tanya Dziahileva but here I think she's amazing! The whole thing is just perfection in my eyes.

Uptown Girls

You've probably all heard that actress Brittany Murphy has died. It's so sad, not only because she was so young, but also because she was a great actress. I absolutely love her in Girl, Interrupted (one of my all time favorite movies), and Uptown Girls. When my mom and I heard the news we decided to watch Uptown Girls as a little tribute to Brittany. I hadn't seen it in awhile, so watching it tonight reminded me of two things: 1. It's a really sweet movie (I cry like a baby at the end) and 2. Brittany's clothes are awesome in it! They're quirky and cute, exactly like her character. I put together a few pictures from my favorite scenes in the movie. Enjoy :)

I was browsing through flickr and I came across this absolutely beautiful picture. I don't know who this model is or if she already has a contract with a major angency, but if not, she needs one NOW! I love everything about this photo.

La Veste

I originally wanted to post something to do with winter or Christmas, but I was in a summery (and not to mention Daria) mood! This editorial is from Vogue Paris March 2009, and despite the fact that the styling is pretty over the top I kind of like it. It's almost a little bit ironic. Anyway, for those of you who aren't into cold weather, I hope you enjoy this!
